For iOS users, a complimentary mobile application is obtainable for download. This application offers comparable functionality to the website, tailored for optimal use on mobile devices. iOS users can conveniently explore the FEI Equine Prohibited Substances Database from their handheld devices. To utilize this application, users must establish an internet connection via a cellular or Wi-Fi network.

The primary objective of the FEI Prohibited Substances Database is to establish a discernible boundary between the administration of conventional, authorized medication and purposeful, premeditated doping aimed at enhancing a horse's performance. To support treating veterinarians and team practitioners, the FEI has disseminated guidelines. Misuse of substances poses a significant risk to the health and well-being of horses. The database is designed to aid in recognizing prohibited substances in compliance with FEI regulations, providing vital information such as substance definitions, common usages, and prevalent trade names.
